Ken McCabe

I am a PhD student in the Mathematics Department at Northeastern University, working with Prof. Jose Perea.

Before that, I completed my MA and BA in Mathematics at University at Albany - SUNY, working with Prof. Michael Lesnick.

My research interests include topological data analysis, computational geometry and topology, and applications thereof. I am especially interested in multiparameter persistent homology, and in questions related to density-sensitive simplicial bifiltrations on metric spaces.

Before coming to University at Albany, I studied jazz saxophone performance at Temple University Boyer College of Music in Philadelphia, under Dick Oatts.

I am originally from Clifton Park, New York.
